What would a rap band groupie wear?

I'd start with a lot of "bling" perhaps the same amount of gold necklaces that Mr. T used to wear. It wouldn't hurt to hang a giant clock around your neck either. Perhaps some gold teeth, pants hanging down and a bandana. Since you said it was for a comedy series I would just have fun and go to extreme -- they can tone you down if they need to. :)
